Red Velvet Cake

My wife made a beautiful Red Velvet Cake for dinner on Christmas Eve. If you’ve never had it before, you must try it. The best part about it is the deep, blood red color of the cake when you cut into it. However, I must admit that I failed in my duties in documenting the events of the day because I didn’t get a shot of the inside of the cake since I was too busy eating it! No worries though, I’ve included a picture of another Red Velvet Cake we had earlier for my wife’s b-day (yes, it’s really that red inside — two whole bottles of carcinogenic food coloring).
