So this is my first post in a long time because, quite honestly, I was pretty frustrated with how my pictures looked online. I couldn’t figure out why pictures that were edited in Lightroom or Photoshop looked so desaturated and blah when posted to Flickr or this blog.
Turns out the problem had to do with color management (or lack of) in browser software. Both Firefox and IE don’t display imbedded color profiles correctly thus leading to bland and desaturated photos. Until the browsers add this ability, I’ll just have to pump them up in PS before posting.
